I'm Mariana Macedo, originally from Viana do Castelo, a city in northern Portugal, and now I live in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands.

With a master's in Organisational, Work and Social Psychology, I have spent the last 7 years researching and working in organisational psychology, human resources, and career development.

Since 2025, I have also found another passion: teaching my language, European Portuguese, to foreigners.

Along the way, I noticed something: most people don't lack potential. They lack the space, the right structure, and the right questions to unlock it. That's why I created About eu, a space where development is built around you. Not a fixed step-by-step programme, but a real process, adapted to who you are and where you want to go.

Living between two cultures, with a Portuguese heart and Dutch pragmatism, has shaped how I see people and how I work. It's also what makes me genuinely useful to anyone navigating careers and lives across borders.

I truly believe that my educational background in psychology, together with my experience as an HR consultant, Portuguese teacher, trainer and coach, also shapes how I work and how I see others, giving me the ability to listen beneath the surface and to build the kind of relationship where real work happens.
